How much does advertising cost, and are there different types? A.) There are three different types of advertising. Visit our current rate card by clicking here to find out current pricing details. Q.) What is an 'impression'? A.) Our adverts are sold on a per 1000 impression basis. An impression is when a visitor to our site loads the page into their web browsing software. So, 1000 impressions means 1000 pairs of eye-balls will see your advert. That's guaranteed. Q.) What is a 'click-through'? A.) The term 'click-through' simply means when a visitor to our site sees your advertisement and clicks on it. Your total click-through's will be the number of people that click on your advert. Q.) What is a banner ad? A.) A banner ad is a rectangular box, 468x60 pixels. You can see an example of a banner ad at the top of the home page. Q.) What is a pixel? A.) 1 pixel is 1 dot on your monitor, all digital images are made up of dots, these dots are called pixels. Q.) Are you VAT registered? A.) Yes. VAT will be charged on all advertising. Q.) What are your payment terms? A.) Our terms are strictly payment with order. To keep our prices low and our service fast and efficient we do not extend credit. When you place your order you should send a cheque with it. You will have a VAT receipt by return of post. Q.) How can I order advertising? A.) Ordering advertising is easy, vist our order form by clicking here. print it out, fill it in by hand and post it to us along with a cheque for the full amount payable to LincolnshireNOW. If you already have a banner, then after you have posted the order form, e-mail the banner to us at: advertising@lincolnshirenow.com Q.) How quickly can I get my banner on your site? A.) As soon as we receive your order along with a cheque for the full amount payable (including VAT) we will put your banner online the same day you should e-mail your banner to us at advertising@lincolnshirenow.com. You will be notified by e-mail when your banner goes online. Q.) How will I know if my advertising worked? A.) Within 7 working days of your impressions being used up we will send you an email telling you how many people clicked on your banner. Q.) How do I contact you, what is your address? A.)
